2024 Wishlist on Steam
In Crypt Custodian, your cat protagonist is doomed to clean up the afterlife. During the "Summer Announcement Trailer" we saw more gameplay, characters, environments, enemies, and got a teaser that the release is slated for later this summer.
"Play as Pluto - a mischievous cat who has died, and is sentenced to be the afterworld's janitor... FOREVER! Hang out with other doomed ghosts, battle beasts, and explore a vastly expansive landscape."

During the Future of Play Direct, Copycat announced the release month of September 2024. We also got more footage of the heartbreak to expect.
"A narrative-driven game about rejection, belonging and the true meaning of home. It follows the story of a newly adopted shelter cat who becomes the victim of an elaborate plan when a jealous, stray copycat steals her place in the household."

Petit Island

A new trailer aired for Petit Island during the Wholesome Direct. In it we see more of the island adventure set to release later this year.

Catto's Post Office

During the ending montage, we saw a few cat games including Catto's Post Office. This cute game looks like it definitely provides some wholesome vibes.

Katsl

City building game Katsl was also featured during the ending montage. Peaceful building with kitties? Yes please.

Hirocato - The Delivery Hero

The last cat game of the montage is Hirocato where you play as a fast-running delivery cat. The game releases later this summer in July.
"Hirocato is an adventure-platformer game where you control a cat and have to parkour over platforms to deliver food. The game is loaded with hard-to-beat levels, great music, hand-made pixel art, and an emotional story"

Bit & Quantum: Save the Earth!

The first and only VR game in this list is Bit & Quantum: Save the Earth! The trailer played during the showcase features dog Bit and cat Quantum solving puzzles in space.

The trailer for Cat Quest 3 showcased during the PC Gaming Show featured the free demo for the upcoming purrrirate game (that pun works right?). The game releases Aug. 8.
"In Cat Quest III you play as a purrivateer in a freely explorable 2.5D open-world swarming with Pi-rats. You can sail the seas in your ship for treasures galore! But prepare for peril, as the Pirate King aims to hunt you down..."
Nintendo Direct

Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Hello Kitty Island Adventure initially released exclusively to Apple Arcade. But finally we'll get to play the game on other platforms. The game heads to Switch, PC early 2025 and to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later. No word on Xbox yet.
"Embark on a cozy adventure with Hello Kitty and Friends to explore and restore a mysterious island. Get to know supercute and friendly faces like Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll as you learn what they love, adventure alongside them, and eventually become best friends."
Stray

The smash cat game hit Stray is getting the Switch treatment. Play as a lost orange kitty while exploring the story
